About Me
About Nina Daruwalla
In New Zealand, I worked as Personnel & Postings Manager for the Royal New Zealand Navy. I handled Public Relations work and took care of visiting dignitaries from different countries. I also worked in the capacity of Recruiter & Negotiator. I obtained my Real Estate license in New Zealand and practiced Real Estate part-time. I love people and homes and this worked out well.
We then moved to Sydney, Australia, for the next two years, where we had our third child. In Sydney, I worked as a volunteer at my children''''s school working on a one-on-one basis with children to bring them up to grade level. This was soul satisfying work. I also studied for my Masters degree in Psychology & Counseling skills in Sydney.
2001 was our next move to U.S.A., and we settled in Cupertino, CA. I settled my family, and then took up voluntary work in Emergency Preparedness and Safety with the City of Cupertino.
I contracted for the City of Cupertino, and wrote the Flood Insurance program through NFIP – FEMA, as a result of which the City of Cupertino and Community members save 10% on their flood insurance premiums!
My passion and interest in people and homes, led me to get my Real Estate license in California once more, and I work as a full time Realtor with Coldwell Banker, Cupertino. My aim in life is to help as many people in the sale or purchase of a home, taking good care of all their needs, and making sure they are well satisfied and settled. I build lifetime relationships, not single transactions!
In January 2006, I was appointed as a Public Safety Commissioner for the City of Cupertino, where I continue to work in a volunteer capacity for the community I live and work in. I am also a First Responder –on the CERT & Medical Reserve Corp for the City of Cupertino.
So, to sum it up –
¨ A good wife and mother to my family
¨ Full time Realtor by profession – Coldwell Banker
¨ A Public Safety Commissioner for City of Cupertino
¨ Fluent in four languages – English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi
